Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-10
1. Summary
- BenefitCue is a tracking tool, not financial, tax, or legal advice.
- You're responsible for actually redeeming your benefits; we just remind you.
- BenefitCue is free today. A “Plus” paid plan is planned but not live yet.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use BenefitCue. You may not use the service if you live in a jurisdiction that the United States restricts trade with, or if you're on a relevant sanctions list.
3. The service
BenefitCue is a personal dashboard for the credit-card benefits you already have. You tell us which cards from our public catalog you hold and BenefitCue shows you the credits and perks attached to them.
Benefit values, expiry windows, and program rules are estimates pulled from public sources (issuer websites, program terms, and community research). They can be wrong, out of date, or change without notice. Always confirm with your issuer before relying on a benefit.
4. No financial advice
Nothing on BenefitCue is tax, legal, financial, or investment advice. We don't know your full financial picture, and we don't tailor recommendations to it. Decisions about which cards to hold, which benefits to redeem, and how to spend your money are yours. Talk to a qualified professional if you need real advice.
5. Accounts
- You're responsible for keeping your sign-in email and any auth credentials secure.
- You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter (anniversary dates, marked usage, cards held).
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the product or catalog.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
- Use the service for automated abuse, spam, or to attack other users.
- Share your account or sub-license access to anyone else.
- Use the service to violate any law or anyone else's rights.
7. Subscriptions
BenefitCue Free lets you track up to 5 cards (limit enforced when we ship the cap). BenefitCue Plus is planned at $5/month for unlimited cards and additional features.
When the paid plan launches: subscriptions renew monthly until you cancel. We don't prorate or refund partial months. You can cancel any time from the Stripe Customer Portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Trial and refund terms are TBD and will be posted before billing begins.
8. Intellectual property
BenefitCue, including the software, design, and benefit catalog (excluding underlying issuer content), is owned by us and our licensors. The wallet entries, anniversary dates, and usage notes you enter belong to you. You grant us the limited right to host, display, and process that content so we can run the service for you.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from settings (or by emailing us). We can suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, abuse, or to protect the service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will continue to apply after the account ends.
10. Disclaimers
BenefitCue is provided “as is” and “as available”without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We don't guarantee that benefit values are correct, that any benefit will be honored by the issuer, or that the service will be free of bugs or downtime.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) US$50. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost benefits, missed credits, lost profits, or lost data, even if we've been advised of the possibility.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold BenefitCue harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
14. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll bump the “Last updated” date at the top. For material changes (pricing, scope of liability) we'll email account holders before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
15. Contact
For questions about these Terms, use the in-app feedback or contact channels listed on your account page.
